Thus Coffee

This is my second visit to Thus Coffee and we had a lovely, post yoga, Sunday brunch. It’s a bit of an effort to get to this place. It is located on a quiet street behind Sembawang hills food centre. However, the food and coffee is really good and their housekeeping is pretty neat!

Location: 4 Jalan Kuras, Singapore-577723

This time we ordered the Prawn Aglio Olio and Scramble Lyonnaise. The Prawn Aglio Olio was nice–lots of garlic, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes and perfectly cooked (and cleaned!) prawns.

The scrambled eggs were very good as well. I was expecting a simple eggs on toast dish but they skipped the usual toast and served it with spiced potatoes. The combo of creamy eggs with spiced potatoes, spinach and mushrooms was lovely!

Coffee was nice and if you don’t like dark roast beans like me then you will enjoy it! We ended the meal with their milo dinosaur cheesecake which was yum–not too sweet, creamy and toasty taste from milo!

On our first visit we had tried their chicken stew, baked eggs and garlic prawns. Garlic praws was definitely a hit. The chicken stew was hearty but a tad bland–the side lemon was used very well by us. The baked eggs were alright–would have preferred it without the sausage.
