W Hotel Taipei: Hotel Review

Taiwan is catching up with its Neighbours and is on its way to become a hot tourist destination. Well that’s not surprising since the country is blessed with stunning landscapes, mountains and lakes! If you are also planning a trip to Taiwan and are looking for some luxury in its capital Taipei, then W hotel Taipei located in the Xinyi district is your best bet. It’s a modern and luxurious oasis right in the heart of Taipei with stunning views of Taipei 101- a skyscraper that was once the tallest building in the world and now marks the city’s skyline! Taipei City Hall MRT (Mass Rapid Transit; blue line) station can be accessed via a basement floor of the hotel.

The rooms are quite tastefully done. I stayed for three nights in one of their ‘wonderful rooms’ which has a Super comfy king-sized bed, lovely bath and body products and a big bath tub 😍

Notice Taipei 101?

I had a splendid view of Taipei 101 from my room on the 26th floor! During the day time I could also see the hills surrounding the city.

I was pretty impressed by their washroom. Fully automatic and loads of options to spoil you while you are at it- you just need to walk in 😜

So many options!!

I looked forward to my bubble baths everyday (bath salts provided) after a super hectic day of meetings.

The service is also pretty nice. The complimentary buffet has plenty of options ranging from local and Asian Flavours, continental, juice and smoothie bar, ice cream station etc. We also had their set lunch on our first day and loved their braised pork and shrimp cake in squid ink bun. The salmon and duck foie gras were okay.
