I have never been a fan of staycations. Why do you need to go to a hotel when you can enjoy the comforts of your home right? Well I had to make an exception for the iconic Marina Bay Sands Hotel. We recently stayed there for a night and quite enjoyed our stay. The room itself is nothing exceptional- a very typical 5-star hotel room. The USP is definitely the infinity pool and the views. Simply gorgeous views of Singapore’s pretty skyline, Gardens by the bay and Marina bay. My favourite part was watching the sun go down from the infinity pool with my husband-so romantic! Only hotel guests have access to this infinity pool but since its a huge hotel, the pool and jacuzzis are always busy. There is also a 360 degrees observation deck with little snippets of history about many of the iconic buildings. We did not eat at the hotel since there are plenty of options at Shoppes at Marina Bay. We tried the set lunch at Caffe B for lunch (liked it!) and revisited our favourite Pizzeria Mozza for Dinner.

The hotel is worth a stay especially for the panoramic views! It is an expensive hotel though, so if you can afford it go for it!
